We are in search of an experienced Systems Analyst. This position will report to theManager of Network and Systems Operations and will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of our company's global server infrastructure.

Core responsibilities will include:

  • Maintain global server infrastructure consisting of virtual [on-premise and cloud] and physical servers.
  • Proactively monitoring, reporting, and managing of the server environment on a day-to-day basis.
  • Identify and investigate hardware and software issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement an action plan for resolution.
  • Implement and manage server backups and disaster recovery plans.
  • Function as a subject matter expert for performance tuning, capacity planning, and roll-out of new and upcoming technologies.
  • Ensure the security and stability of the server environment.
  • Collaborate with other IT professionals to ensure that the server infrastructure meets the needs of the organization.
  • Train and mentor junior systems analysts.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
  • Enforce server standards, guidelines, and best practices.
  • Create and maintain server documentation.
  • Provide after-hour support and on-call support as required.

Skills and experience required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in server administration and management.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows Server and Linux/Unix operating systems.
  • Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
  • Knowledge of cloud computing technologies and platforms such as AWS and Azure.
  • Experience with server automation and scripting technologies such as PowerShell or Python.
  • Demonstrated self-starter, able to prioritize tasks and stay organized.
  • Experience troubleshooting complex systems issues, strongly preferred.
  • Must be comfortable working in a collaborative team environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional team.
  • Capable of working well in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
