School Profile:

Trudeau Elementary is a K-7 school with a focus on literacy development and early intervention. There is a significant ELL student position integrated in classes and home to a district Communication and Self Regulation (CORE) program. Trudeau is also part of the Artist in Residence Studio (AIRS) Program.

Qualifications

  • Completion of a Bachelor of Education
  • Recent contract teaching experience in an intermediate enrolling class is required
  • Fluency in Mandarin is required
  • Knowledge of Pinyin phonetics and traditional Chinese characters is an asset
  • Membership in or eligible to become a member of the Teacher Regulation Branch (TRB)
  • Registration with the Teacher Qualification Service (TQS)
