HRIS Functional Analyst (SAP)

Position Status: Permanent Full-Time

2024 Salary: $ 95,197 - $ 111,997

Location: Cambridge, ON (this is not a remote opportunity)

The HRIS Functional Analyst, is an integral member of the Total Compensation & HR Systems team, and plays a lead role in the support and maintenance of the Human Experience Management (HXM) system – an SAP SuccessFactors solution that is shared with the Region of Waterloo (i.e., joint tenancy). Helps produce solution design and documentation for complex enterprise applications with expert attention to all architectural qualities and business processes.

You Will:

• Work with Human Resources, Finance/Payroll, Information Technology, and other operational subject matter experts (SMEs) to understand their needs and provides coaching on appropriate solutions. Work with technical support teams to drive them to an efficient technical solution design.
• Aid in the development of configuration and maintenance of workbooks for HXM to meet legal, regulatory, and business requirements and participate in workflow improvement projects.
• Analyze and assesse business requests and determine priority and options for implementation.
• Conduct research, analytics, compile reports, and recommend system or business process improvements, in response to evolving business requirements and/or legislative changes, required to support HXM functionality.
• Lead system sustainment and maintenance, including relevant system upgrade releases.

You Have:

• Minimum 4 years' experience as an HRIS functional analyst, working on SAP SuccessFactors solutions, Successful completion of university degree in Human Resources, Business Administration (with HR accreditation) or equivalent is required.
• Working knowledge and experience with SAP SF integrated partner WorkForce Software (WFS) and the following WFS functionality would be an asset: Time & Attendance, Absence & Leave Management, and Advanced Scheduler.
• Working knowledge and experience with SAP SF integrated partner Sodales and the following Sodales functionality would be an asset: HR Compliance & Labour Relations (Disability Claims, Incident Management - Health and Safety, Grievance Management)., Discipline Management.Retired & Terminated Employee portal.
• Demonstrated experience in SAP SuccessFactors solutions, Human Resource processes, Canadian payroll and Time and Attendance management with excellent functional and technical skills.
