The Plan Member Administration team within the Client's Group Benefits organization connects people, technology, and expert services to streamline benefits administration and deliver a consistent, powerful experience for both members and clients.

As part of our team, you will support large corporate clients, coordinating efforts to provide world-class benefits administration and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure member data integrity and establish processes to safeguard against unauthorized changes.
  • Analyze data for compatibility with client setups.
  • Provide technical expertise on V-load requirements, including file layout, generator, client communication, claims history, and manual member loads.
  • Offer technical and administrative support to Plan Member Administration staff regarding member setup and V-load activities.
  • Recommend effective solutions for V-load offerings, considering client data and flex plan design, while liaising with the IS Team for testing.
  • Attend client meetings to gather and document plan member data requirements.
  • Identify and implement process improvement opportunities, including workflow enhancements and systems changes.
  • Load all member data for new clients, including claims history and Health Care Spending Account (HCSA) balances.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in Group Benefits and Benefits Administration.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to demonstrate confidence and resilience in everyday situations.
  • Good relationship management skills.
  • Familiarity with standard payroll/electronic files.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and SQL, including Visual Basic programming (e.g., filtering data, creating formulas, formatting cells).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Benefits Administration Systems (e.g., Vital Objects) is an asset.
  • Experience building files for electronic management teams.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree is an asset but not required.
