Description

The PM Sorter sorts and separates freight by destination, weight, size, and shape to meet client delivery schedules.

Job Position Details

• Position Type: Temporary Contract
• Location: 800 Laval Crescent, Kamloops, BC V2C 5P3
• Hourly Wage: $22.27
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM (15 hours/week)
• Contract End Date: January 2025
  
  

Responsibilities

Unload freight from curbside trucks onto the conveyor and from conveyor into curbside trucks

Unload freight off conveyor or chute for load-out

Load freight into linehaul / cube truck or trailer

Preload mail and packages into curbside delivery vehicles

Manually transfer bulk or non-conveyable items

Scan all shipped or received mail or packages to identify improperly sorted packaged mail or packages and mail marked for priority or weekend delivery.
