Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager, this position will play a key role in the execution and development of digital marketing initiatives. You will achieve success in this role if you have strong analytical skills, are creative and dynamic, a team player with a strong sense of urgency, high attention to detail and superior verbal and written communication skills. The Digital Marketing Strategist will be tasked with analyzing user experience data, initiating digital projects, reporting on planned and current strategies, leading effective digital marketing strategies, and ensuring that projects are executed within budget. You will play a pivotal role in growing our business and improving user experience.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing campaign strategies for The Brick Brand across all digital channels
  • Update online analytics using various reports, such as Google Analytics, to generate an ROI and KPI’s on each campaign.
  • Analyzing reports and results to improve all digital campaigns, both during and after the campaign has ended.
  • Maximize online exposure through search engine marketing, display, online video, digital flyers, and other areas of online advertising; make recommendations for best practices of all available channels.
  • Write ad copy for Google advertising and Facebook advertising campaigns
  • Assist in scheduling, planning, executing, and tracking digital campaigns internally and with our outside vendors in various channels.
  • Create digital marketing ad spec documents for all paid digital media.
  • Assist in online marketing research and road-map planning with our third-party partners
  • Monitor, evaluate, and report on competitor activities; make recommendations based on findings or opportunities discovered
  • Find ways to improve account performance based on goals, trends, and key metrics

Qualifications

  • Post-Secondary Education in Marketing, Communications, or relevant workplace experience.
  • Previous proven experience in digital marketing and campaign management.
  • Previous agency experience considered an asset.
  • Bilingual in English and French considered an asset.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience running Google Ads, YouTube Advertising and Facebook Advertising campaigns
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience working in Google Analytics, and other ROI measurement tactics
  • Proven success in running SEM, YouTube and Facebook Advertising campaigns.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills
  • Strong writing and web research skills, excellent communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability and passion to pursue/explore new mediums to engage with.
  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Ability to work with a team and under pressure with constant changes and deadlines
