Reporting to the SVP Enterprise Solutions, IT, this role will collaborate with the Operations team and various department leads to identify training needs and initiate development plans for teams and individuals. This role is responsible for managing, designing, developing, co ordinating and conducting training initiatives and programs.

To be successful in this role, the Manager of National Training Solutions will have experience with various training methods, including on-the-job coaching, mentorship programs, e-learning and different types of programs including technical training, management training and soft-skills development.

This role can be based out of our Vancouver, Calgary or Toronto office location.

Responsibilities

  • Create annual training plans for functional teams to meet corporate, regional and property objectives.
  • Coordinate all training initiatives and special projects as assigned. This entails speaking with various levels of management to ensure training success, as well as developing training programs using both external and in-house resources.
  • Provide Yardi and role-based training to various regions.
  • Assess training needs within field operations while conducting training sessions and communicate identified training needs to the respective department managers.
  • Support and assist managers and employees solve specific training challenges, either through a one-on-one interaction or in group sessions.
  • Maintain and coordinate a training calendar for all learning modules.
  • Coordinate the logistics for training activities including venues and equipment.
  • Participate in the development of strategies related to projects assigned, including but not limited to, facilitating change management initiatives, and coordinating deployment strategies.
  • Maintain and update training material, including the processes, procedures, and policies within QuadReal’s operations manual.
  • Act as an ambassador of QuadReal’s mission, vision, and values.
  • Partner with Human Resources Department team on key coaching initiatives and company programs.

Experience, Qualifications & Skills

  • 5+ years of progressive experience, preferably with experience in training/teaching adults within a customer centric environment.
  • 2+ years of experience leading a team.
  • Bachelor’s degree or College diploma with a specialty in education, or related field.
  • Excellent communication skills with a professional approach and ability to foster business relationships.
  • Proven ability to complete a full training cycle (assessment, plan, develop, coordinate, monitor and evaluate).
  • Ability to adapt, work with interruptions and manage multiple and changing priorities effectively.
  • Mature judgment, strong principles, and the ability to exercise tact, discretion, and diplomacy.
  • Experience with an e-learning platform.
  • Knowledge of learning management systems and web delivery tools.
  • MS Office proficiency.
  • Advanced organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects.
  • A passion for assisting others.

The expected annualized base salary range for this role is $113,000 - $143,800.

The actual salary offered will take into consideration a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, the individual’s skill, experience, education and training, the market compensation of the role, and the consideration to internal equity.
