Business Consultant - Senior

This is a remote position.

Looking for a Business Consultant - Senior emotional intelligence and experience in data governance and management practices, data maturity assessments, requirement gathering for data strategy, and data modernization. This assignment could start as early as 21/10/2024 or as late as 30/09/2025 the end of depending on resource availability with possible extension.

Work Experience:

• Experience completing enterprise system data source discovery, data element inventory, data consumer inventory, and defining the collection of supporting data catalogue definitions.
• Experience creating and supporting the development of data governance frameworks to support enterprise business modernization requirements.

Work Experience:

• Experience assessing and documenting gaps in data governance frameworks, including policy, procedures, standards, and solutions through current-state analysis.
• Experience completing inventory and review of the complex government legislations / regulations, policies, and standards.
• Experience conducting, facilitating and interpreting impact and risk assessments across multiple scenarios.
• Experience developing and maintaining positive stakeholder relationships across the organization, including executive level.
• Experience documenting data management requirements, business processes, and workflows while conducting Data Maturity Assessments through interviews, surveys, and workshops.
• Experience gathering requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases or scenarios, business analysis, and business process modeling.
• Experience in Agile Projects
• Experience in a leadership and/or facilitation role
• Experience supporting communication and change management of complex data management issues that may be necessary to ensure delivery of complex registry program changes, such as centralized data products.
• Experience using analytical and problem solving skills to plan and design creative solutions.

• Experience with using JIRA or Revision Control System (RCS)
• Experience working with structured / unstructured databases, data modeling, data management, rapid/iterative development methodologies, and data governance tools.
