On behalf of our government client in Edmonton, Procom is searching for a Senior Test Analyst for an 8-month remote contract. This position may require occasional travel to Edmonton for onsite meetings.


Senior Test Analyst Job Details

Our client seeking a Senior Test Analyst to join their IGX Center of Excellence testing project. This role involves managing and overseeing the performance of our client's enterprise resource planning (ERP) solution, 1GX, with a focus on the Integration Suite platform. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the long-term viability and success of 1GX projects by executing and facilitating testing activities.


Senior Test Analyst Responsibilities

As a Senior Test Analyst, you will work under the guidance of the 1GX Manager - Process and Technology to support the planning and execution phases of 1GX projects.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Executing smoke, unit, system, regression, and UAT testing of newly developed integrations and interfaces.
• You will review, evaluate, and provide test input during business requirements and design specifications gathering sessions.
• Additionally, you will identify and communicate testing issues, implement process improvements, and resolve issues.
• You will also support the development and execution of test plans, define appropriate tests and associated data, gather and manage test data, evaluate test cycle outcomes, and track test results.
  
  
  

Senior Test Analyst Mandatory Skills

• Strong experience in executing smoke, unit, system, regression, and UAT testing.
• Ability to review, evaluate, and provide input during business requirements and design specifications gathering sessions.
• Skilled in identifying and communicating testing issues and implementing process improvements.
• Proficiency in developing and executing test plans and managing test data.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to analyze and recover from execution errors.

Senior Test Analyst Desired Skills

• Experience with SAP S/4 Hana and ERP solutions.
• Familiarity with automated testing tools.
• Ability to create knowledge documents and provide training to support teams.

Senior Test Analyst Location

This position is located in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. The role is primarily remote, with occasional in-office requirements as determined by the direct supervisor. The work must be performed from within Canada due to network and data security issues.
