ABOUT THE JOB:

Global Banking Technology & Operations (GBTO) delivers day-to-day services to Global Banking & Investor Solutions (GBIS) Business Units and their clients. With IT & Operations teams working side by side under the same leadership, the goal of GBTO is to meet the evolving needs of its clients and market requirements, as well as anticipate technological advances to accelerate and support the transformation of GBIS activities. GBTO is at the very heart of this technological and operational challenge.

Within GBTO, our team oversees regulatory reporting and trading applications. We cover development, operation, and support for these applications, while adhering to agile and DevOps principles. Our team has the privilege of working in close collaboration with our stakeholders and a multitude of other teams.

What will be your DAY-TO-DAY?

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Support users of regulatory reporting and trading applications.
  • Monitor processes and infrastructure.
  • Manage the resolution, tracking and documentation of incidents and requests.
  • Communicate with users and other teams.
  • Participate in Change Management / Release Management (CMRM) processes.
  • Contribute to development projects within an agile team.
  • Execute quality, non-regression and post-deployment tests.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our applications, operations infrastructure, processes, and documentation.
  • Conduct data analysis for our users or for improvement purposes.
  • Track Changes in production, QA, High Impact Incidents, and transversal incidents.
  • Provide high quality analysis and action plan for incidents remediation.
  • Produce and maintain application manuals and runbooks up to date.

Skills and Qualifications:

Must have:

  • Experience working in a similar role in a complex information system environment
  • Ability to structure, document, and share knowledge
  • Familiarity with monitoring and job scheduling concepts
  • Incident resolution and request handling

Nice to Have:

  • Prior experience in a financial environment
  • Familiarity with ITIL framework
  • Basic financial / capital market knowledge

Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field

Languages: English, French

Ability to communicate in English, both orally and in writing, is a requirement as the person in this position will need to collaborate regularly with colleagues and partners in the United States.

Due to US Federal Securities law applying to this position, candidates who will apply for this position will be required to submit to an enhanced background screening, including the collection of their fingerprints by a third-party vendor selected by the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (“FINRA”).
