Description

Norton Rose Fulbright is currently seeking to add an experienced employment and labour associate to our Vancouver office. With eight lawyers in Vancouver and over 70 lawyers nationally, our firm is one of the largest management-side employment and labour practice groups in the country. We provide representation to employers on all aspects of workplace law in unionized and non-unionized environments in both provincial and federal sectors, including employment litigation and compliance, labour board proceedings, labour arbitration, human rights, executive employment contracts, employee compensation and benefits, pay equity, privacy law, collective bargaining, human resources strategies, occupational health and safety, and workplace policies.

The successful candidate will become part of a collegial and collaborative team, and will have significant opportunity for continued growth and mentorship.

The ideal candidate will possess an LL.B. or J.D. degree and will also have:

  • 3 to 6 years of experience practicing employment and labour law in a team environment;
  • excellent academic credentials;
  • exceptional client service, interpersonal and communication skills; and
  • strong drive and initiative.

Vancouver Salary: $142,000-$190,000 per year. Salary will be discussed and negotiated during interview and will be based on experience.
