Occupational Therapist - Home Care Assessment

(Belleville, Brockville, Trenton, Hamilton, Windsor, Chatham, Brampton, Barrie, Sudbury, Ottawa & Quebec!)

Signing Bonus of $5000 available!

Lifemark’s Home and Community Care division, Community Advantage Rehabilitation (CAR) is looking for Occupational Therapists to complete Independent Living Services (ILS) assessments throughout the province of Ontario. The ILS assessments are to be completed in the residential homes of injured workers. This is a casual part-time opportunity based on referrals.

The following types of assessments will be provided:

  • Personal Care Assessments
  • Home Safety Assessments
  • Home Accessibility Assessments
  • Mobility A and B assessments


All Occupational Therapists that are in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists and who have a minimum of 3 years work experience are eligible. In order to perform mobility assessments it is recommended you are an ADP Authorizer.

Other items associated with this opportunity:

  • Referrals will be within your preferred geographic area
  • You will be able to schedule the assessments in collaboration with the client at your convenience
  • You will be paid a premium rate
  • In addition to compensation you will be paid for mileage, travel and training time
  • You may accept or decline the work based on your availability
  • Being fluent in French is NOTa requirement, but a great asset!
  • This work is a great opportunity for Occupational Therapists to engage clients in a different way and expand your clinical practice
