We have hundreds of tradesmen and over 20 facilities dedicated to providing Canadian solutions to our customers.


We are hiring an Accountant to join our team onsite in Niagara Falls.


Reporting to the CFO, your responsibilities will include:


  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Developing consolidated financial forecasts, budgeting, and conducting variance analysis to understand discrepancies between planned and actual results.
  • Financial Reporting: Preparing financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, to communicate financial performance to stakeholders such as management, investors, and regulatory authorities.
  • Data Analysis: Collecting, interpreting, and analyzing financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities. This may involve using financial modeling techniques and statistical analysis to derive insights.
  • Market Research: Conducting research on industry trends, competitor performance, and market conditions to provide context for financial analysis and forecasts.
  • Cash Flow Projections: Evaluating consolidated cash flow and making sure management is made well aware of any uncertainties
  • Risk Management: Identifying financial risks facing the organization, such as liquidity risk, market risk, and credit risk, and developing strategies to mitigate these risks.
  • Cost Analysis: Analyzing costs and expenses to identify areas for cost reduction or efficiency improvement. This may involve conducting cost-benefit analyses for proposed projects or initiatives.
  • Financial Modeling: Building and maintaining financial models to simulate business scenarios, project future financial performance, and support strategic decision-making.
  • Advisory Services: Providing financial advice and recommendations to management on issues such as capital budgeting, financial restructuring, mergers and acquisitions.
  • Compliance: Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and accounting standards, such as Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) or International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
  • Continuous Improvement: Continuously improving financial processes, systems, and methodologies to enhance the accuracy, efficiency, and effectiveness of financial analysis and reporting.


Your qualifications include:

  • Post-secondary education in Accounting or Finance
  • CPA designation (or near obtaining)
  • Knowledge and application of Generally Accepted Accounting Principals (GAAP)
  • Strong communication skills to clearly communicate financial analysis findings, insights and recommendations
  • Knowledge of Jonas Construction, Sage 300, Sage 50, MS Business Central or other accounting software packages
  • Driver's license in good standing - some occasional travel to other sites
