Hexagon's Safety, Infrastructure & Geospatial (SIG) division is seeking a Public Safety, software delivery Senior Project Manager based out of our Mississauga, ON, or Calgary, AB office location. Hexagon will also consider qualified candidates working in a virtual, home office environment. Whether office, or home office based, candidates will be required to travel to client sites in Canada.

Our team is composed of professional sales and services professionals that provide mission-critical and business-critical solutions to governments and service providers for safer communities, better public services and more reliable infrastructure.

Your Mission:

As a client-facing Senior Project Manager, you will contribute to the ongoing business operations of the company by effectively providing management and leadership to ensure timely and efficient execution of assigned projects and other client services. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following key areas of activity related to Hexagon's public safety practice:

  • Developing, supporting, facilitating and implementing a number of projects of large to moderate size, diversity and complexity
  • Effectively managing projects to deliver on time, on cost and according to client quality expectations
  • Development of project plans, including scope, budget, deliverables, schedule and project team responsibilities in order to accomplish project objectives
  • Coordinating work and providing instructions, advice, leadership and guidance
  • Reviewing work in progress and assessing completed work for accuracy, required results and desired quality
  • Ensuring timely and accurate communication between project team members, management and customers
  • Facilitating the resolution of issues and escalations
  • Participation in project scoping activities, including producing and/or validating LOEs and SOWs
  • Preparing customer-facing and internal status and financial reporting
  • Participating in pre-sales activities, including proposal development and customer presentations
