THE OPPORTUNITY

Are you looking to take the next step in your career with a part-time role at a forward-thinking, innovative consulting firm? This could be your opportunity! We’re seeking an enthusiastic and organized receptionist to join our Kelowna office on a permanent part-time basis. If you’re a self-starter passionate about providing excellent service and want to be part of a collaborative and dynamic team, we’d love to hear from you!

Responsibilities

  • Greet clients & vendors and ensure they sign in on Visitor Sign-In Sheet
  • Answer multi-line phone system for Ecora locations, route calls to appropriate location/Team Member
  • Daily pick-up and internal distribution of mail
  • Prepare outgoing mail – (create mailing labels if required)
  • Shipping/Receiving for couriers – record outgoing packages, email recipient of delivered packages
  • Add/Remove Team Members from Ecora Contact List
  • Monitor company-wide vacation calendar
  • Assist Team Members with boardroom bookings, organize catering/ book reservations for meetings as requested
  • Ensure the office maintains a professional appearance (reception, kitchen, meeting rooms, supply area)
  • Maintain inventory of stationary and office supplies; ensure that all print rooms are tidy and properly stocked
  • Order/pick-up kitchen supplies and keep kitchen tidy
  • Point person for guiding external vendors for servicing: vending machines, printer rooms, etc.
  • Assist Team Members with office culture events: planning, creating posters, running errands, set up/clean up
  • Other office duties as requested

Qualifications

  • High school diploma
  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Positive and proactive attitude
  • Dependability and punctuality
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Flexibility to learn new skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
