Purpose

As Maintenance Clerk, you are part of the Mine Sector Maintenance team. You are responsible for procurement of tools and material required for the operational needs of Maintenance. You ensure an appropriate and clean filing system is maintained to facilitate searches and ensure replacement of defective material. You ensure you have the material required for the scheduled maintenance work.

Description

• Maintain 5S standards
• Maintain the tooling and ensure it is in good condition
• Ensure the compliance of the regulated tooling, such as slings, hoisting equipment, etc.
• Ensure the availability and grouping of parts and tooling for maintenance work
• Respect, know and promote company regulations and policies, particularly with regard to health and safety
• Ensure the workplaces are clean and safe at all times
• Report any incident/accident to your supervisor
• Assist the mechanics during the maintenance work and production shutdowns.
• Perform all other tasks related to the performance of their duties
  
  

Requirements

• Knowledge of maintenance-related tooling and parts
• Diploma of Secondary Studies and/or recognized training in maintenance and relevant experience in mechanics
• Minimum of 1 to 3 years' experience in a similar position
• Knowledge of the SAP system and the Microsoft Office Suite is an asset
• Bilingual (an asset)
• Valid driver's licence
  
  

Working Conditions

• Schedule: 14 days of work followed by 14 days off
