Title: Administrative Assistant

Hours: Monday – Friday 9am-5pm

Reporting to Branch Manager

Salary: $44,850 annually

Start date: ASAP

Job Location: Hamilton, Ontario

Responsibilities

  • Managing maintenance requests collaboration with branch manager
  • Invoicing for accounts payable
  • Managing unverified report
  • Sending pager schedule to answering service
  • Assisting with reporting in collaboration with Shared Services and Branch Manager
  • Mask fit tests
  • PPE inventory management
  • MyBayshoreCare support
  • Tech support for various hardware and software
  • Field staff phone training & support for ongoing troubleshooting
  • Reception support
  • Assisting with event planning for the branch
  • Closing the office
  • Prepare Nursing/PSW Bags for orientation
  • Tracking EPI Kits
  • Manage Field staff PPE Drops
  • Preparing Field staff documentation & signage
  • Preparing & Uploading paper charts
  • Submitting requests for Years-of Service gifts & notify staff upon receipt
  • additional administrative tasks as required.

Who You Are

  • You are a "go-getter" who enjoys doing something different every day!
  • You have a desire to help improve the lives of those in your community
  • You hold a high school diploma. Post-Secondary graduate with Business Administration program and healthcare experience an asset
  • You have 1 to 3 years of experience in an administrative support role with varied responsibilities

Other Skills And Abilities

Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team; demonstrated ability and competency with respect to keyboarding, Windows software, multi-line telephone systems and standard office equipment; ability to speak, read and write English.
