On behalf of our Public Sector Client, Ignite Technical Resources is recruiting for a Change Management Consultant, Zero Trust on a 12-month contract with the possibility of extension.

Summary Of The Role

The Change Management Consultant will be responsible for leading change management initiatives related to a Zero Trust cybersecurity project. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to manage technology-driven transformations. The successful candidate will bring a strong background in change management, with a specific focus on IT and cybersecurity, and will work remotely from within British Columbia.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute change management strategies for the Zero Trust cybersecurity initiative.
  • Collaborate with technology and cybersecurity teams to support project goals and ensure seamless adoption of new security frameworks.
  • Develop and implement communication plans and training programs to drive user engagement.
  • Identify risks and challenges to change adoption and provide solutions to mitigate them.
  • Prepare detailed reports and documentation for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Core Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, cybersecurity, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in change management, with a focus on IT or cybersecurity projects.
  • Change Practitioner Certification (e.g., PROSCI, CCMP) – mandatory.
  • Demonstrated understanding of cybersecurity principles or relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM).
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams through technology transformations.

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Public Sector experience is an asset.
  • Advanced knowledge of change management methodologies.
  • Strong technical writing skills for diverse audiences.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies in the context of cybersecurity.

Terms

This is a 12-month contract with the possibility of extension. The position is fully remote, and candidates must be located within British Columbia. A background check will be required at the offer stage.
