Reports to: Call Center Supervisor/Manager

Job Overview:

The Call Center Representative will serve as the primary point of contact for customers, handling inbound and outbound calls. The role involves addressing customer inquiries, resolving complaints, processing orders, and providing accurate information about products and services. Excellent communication, problem-solving skills, and a focus on customer satisfaction are key to success in this position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle Inbound/Outbound Calls: Answer incoming calls and make outbound calls to customers in a timely manner.
  • Customer Service: Provide accurate information, answer inquiries, and resolve issues or complaints efficiently.
  • Order Processing: Assist customers with placing orders, updating account information, and tracking shipments.
  • Problem Resolution: Identify and troubleshoot issues, escalate to appropriate departments if necessary, and follow up to ensure resolution.
  • Maintain Customer Records: Update and maintain customer account details in the database, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Cross-Selling: Identify opportunities to inform customers about additional products or services.
  • Meet Performance Targets: Achieve daily, weekly, or monthly goals related to call volume, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Skills, Knowledge And Expertise

  • High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Problem-solving abilities and a customer-first mindset.
  • Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with CRM software.
  • Active listening skills and attention to detail.
