Copywriter (Contract)

Our scope ranges from recommending how to use content more effectively to optimizing daily media channel performance and maximizing visibility in eCommerce platforms.

As a Copywriter, you’ll work with the creative team, as well as client services and project management to come up with high quality solutions for our clients – for a variety of media channels.

• Responsible for assistance of creative development including ideation, visualization, presentation and execution of the creative product
• Liaise on a daily basis with internal teams (senior creative, account services, strategy, media, and project management)
• Communicate creative concepts and design to internal team and client, ensure the concepts deliver on strategy and the creative brief’s objectives
• Work closely with the team to develop the highest caliber of creative product, lead creative oversight of the final execution
• Work on multiple projects at once, in various team combinations, occasionally with 3d party vendors such as photographers, illustrators, directors, UX/dev teams, etc.
• As a part of creative team’s responsibility, demonstrate and foster innovation culture

Please note this is a one year Fixed Term contract. 

• 1-2 years of experience in a similar role (ideally within an agency environment)
• Bachelor degree or college diploma in Communications/English /Journalism or related
• Strong conceptual ability – experience working on advertising campaigns
• Ability to transform creativity and passion for ideas and technology into tangible solutions rooted in strategy
• Must be a team player with a knack for collaboration
• Strong communication skills and comfortable with presenting to groups

The salary range for this position is $45-$55k. Actual salary within the salary range will be based on a variety of factors including relevant experience, knowledge, and skills.
