Project Description - Formulation Registration System (FRS) Overview:
A formulation is a mixture of different substances prepared in a certain way for therapeutic treatment in animals. A formulation may include active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) combined with inactive ingredients or just a mixture of the inactive ingredients alone (excipient or vehicle buffers).
Problem Or Unmet Need
Formulations may be captured in gSheets and ELNs, at best, but there is no standardized registration of preclinical formulations existing within pRED/gRED to enable tracking of formulations used within studies. Consequently, data and conclusions (i.e. tox) associated with the use of specific formulations cannot be easily tracked or applied to future research.
Expected Value From FRS
Registering formulations in a standardized manner will enable tracking of effects of formulation recipes on animal health, molecule activity and effectiveness, and stability or ideal methods and ingredients. Quality of recorded information will be improved by reducing aliases (difficult to search) and entry errors. A shared platform for the REDs will foster data sharing across this space and help provide information for study planning and decision-making.
Skills Requirement
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant field.
At least 5-years of experience in relevant role.
Expert knowledge in creating application front-ends using JavaScript and related technologies/frameworks
Experience of working with low code app development platform, particularly Outsystems
Experience of developing cloud-native applications on AWS.
Coding using JS Design Patterns.
Creation of CSS and JS code working on multiple browsers and mobile platforms.
Knowledge of: semantic HTML markup, presentation separation of content and page HTML structure, W3C standards (incl. WAI), Node.js
Practical ability to create and modify frontend layer, prepare responsive design, based on HTML5, CSS3 and frameworks like Angular, jQueryUI, Modernizr, Twitter Bootstrap.
Practical knowledge of SQL / development, experience with databases.
Ability to create Web Services based on SOAP and REST.
Writing unit tests.
Tools required: SVN/GIT, JIRA, Adobe Suite (implementation of web interfaces based on graphical projects), Continuous Integration (Bamboo)
Ability to coordinate work and collaborate directly with the customer (development lead role) and experience with working in Agile Development Methodologies.
Solving issues within the cooperation with solution owners/vendors (for example with Microsoft support team).
Ability to lead the team (plan and organize work)
Preparing high-quality documentation & presentations for our partners.
Practical experience in designing application architecture.
Can train people, can work as solution architect, Technology stack/keywords.
