Demand Planner - Retail

Reporting to the Manager, Demand Planning, the Demand Planner, is responsible for creating and implementing forecasting processes associated with developing a demand plan for assigned product segments and/or channels.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess and understand Lindt’s product line in order to create demand forecasts and support the development of marketing and promotional strategies for each segment.
  • Collaborate with internal teams on consumer and trade promotion activities and establish appropriate projections to achieve market growth targets.
  • Evaluate consumption habits/trends and identify opportunities that will cater to the demand and preferences of retail consumers for Lindt’s products and also help to build awareness of the Lindt brand.
  • Lead monthly meetings to identify and resolve discrepancies between sales and demand forecasts, and take corrective action where needed.
  • Prepare reports for the management team based on the results of marketing analyses and demand planning forecasts that will aid the company in strategic product development.
  • Support processes to improve marketing, customer service and operational Key Performance Indicators.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field
  • 3 years’ demand planning/marketing experience within the Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG) industry
  • Experience with statistical forecasting and forecasting tools (SAP-IBP and APO)
  • Knowledge and experience with JDE or other Enterprise Resource Planning systems
  • Highly analytical skillset

Wage Information and Conditions:

  • Compensation Type:
    • Wage or salary from – $68,375 per year
    • Wage or salary to – $78,375 per year
    • 10% Performance-based bonus
  • Hours: Fixed – 37.5 per week
