Position Overview:
The Director of Records Management is responsible for the oversight and maintenance of PMINAC’s records management program. This role is critical in ensuring that records are managed according to established policies and retention schedules.
Key Deliverables:
- Ensure compliance with PMINAC Records Management policy and Records Retention Schedule.
- Manage records for which the Administration Portfolio is responsible, including capturing, storing, disseminating, and maintaining records.
- Ensure backups of digital records and safe storage of paper-based records.
- Identify and maintain records for archival purposes beyond the retention period.
- Advise Board members on records and document management practices.
- Identify and implement opportunities for improvement within the records management process.
Estimated Time Commitment: 5 - 7 Hours per Month
Desired Skillsets:
- Experience with or willingness to develop knowledge of records management best practices.
- Familiarity with legislated records management requirements.
- Proficiency in general office and collaboration software.
- Strong attention to detail.
