Your Role
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Marketing Services, the Marketing & Social Media Specialist is responsible for maintaining a strong social media presence for our legal professionals individually, and be skilled at enhancing our firm’s market position through innovative social media campaigns and digital marketing strategies.
This position offers a hybrid work arrangement.

Your Role

- Generate high-quality, engaging content for various digital channels, which includes the client/prospect digital journey as well as consistency of messaging.
- Provide strategic content / marketing plans (working with the Senior Manger, Marketing Services) and execute plan to achieve BD & Marketing objectives.
- Plan and manage digital campaigns, including pay-per-click (PPC) advertising, display ads, and paid social media promotion while staying within budget constraints.
- Implement effective search engine optimization (SEO) and search engine marketing (SEM) strategies to improve organic and paid search rankings, driving website traffic and leads.
- Act as subject matter expert for internal stakeholders regarding their online presence, including providing LinkedIn training to groups and
- Utilize analytics tools to track, measure, and report on key performance metrics. Use data-driven insights to report to project leads to help refine strategies and improve campaign effectiveness.
- Support the production of bulletins (email marketing campaigns) that are regional and national in scope.
- Write and publish website bios for lateral hires/new joiners with input from the lawyer as well as assist with optimization of existing regional firm members’ bios to elevate Fasken.com domain authority (approx. 375 ON firm members).
- Liaise with members of our Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) team among other internal stakeholders to ensure messaging is consistent with the firm’s values.
- Create and post social media posts for a variety of activities, including, but not limited to: new joiner announcements, Fasken-hosted events, Fasken-sponsored activities, charitable activities, Fasken thought leadership content etc.
- Manage regional LinkedIn campaigns on behalf of firmwide teams.
- Back up and support for corporate season ticket distribution to clients(sports, concert tickets).
- Manage translation process for digital content and graphic assets as required.
- Produce general marketing collateral and assist partners with Power Point formatting.
- Maintain a strong online brand presence, ensuring consistency and connectivity across all digital platforms and touchpoints.
- Stay informed about industry competitors and market trends to identify opportunities and threats, adjusting strategies accordingly.
- Develop and deliver compelling client-facing content that aligns with overall digital marketing strategies in support of the region and Firm’s business objectives.
- Other duties as required.
- Bachelor’s degree preferably in a related area including, Business Administration/Commerce, Law, English, Marketing, Communications;
- Minimum three (3) years of experience in communications, marketing or professional services business development preferred;
- Experience with Siteimprove, Hootsuite and/or Google Analytics is an asset.
- Social Listening and paid social campaign experience preferred, with familiarity using social media tools for business (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Sprout Social, Hootsuite);
- Proficiency with MS-Office (MS Word, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, Excel, Forms).
