Your Role
Our Infrastructure Advisory practice is growing rapidly. We are looking for a leader that is committed to partnering with clients as the trusted advisors of choice on major federal infrastructure projects across Canada. Our group is comprised of a multidisciplinary team of professionals, advising public and private sector clients on a wide variety of projects in the water, transportation, energy, healthcare and social infrastructure/civic buildings markets. As a Director – Infrastructure Advisory, you will contribute to the strategic direction and leadership of the business as a member of the Infrastructure Advisory leadership team. You will also demonstrate leadership in the industry, and actively improve Colliers Project Leaders’ Infrastructure Advisory profile. You will be expected to identify, secure and deliver assignments while managing the Canadian Federal Government Infrastructure Advisory client relationships and satisfaction on engagements.

What You Can Expect
Approximate Salary Range for Role: $130,000 to $180,000
Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all Canada locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

You will also demonstrate leadership in the industry, and actively improve Colliers Project Leaders’ Infrastructure Advisory profile. You will be expected to identify, secure and deliver assignments while managing the Canadian Federal Government Infrastructure Advisory client relationships and satisfaction on engagements.
Responsibilities
As a Director – Infrastructure Advisory, you will help to develop the Infrastructure Advisory team and lead the implementation, management, growth and continuous improvement of advisory services and attached deliverables across a broad range of specializations including:
- Feasibility studies, business cases, capital planning
- Indigenous Procurement Plans, procurement strategies and options analyses
- Portfolio Plans, PMO development, implementation and strategy
- Site selection analysis, asset management plans
- Market research, transaction structuring, benefits realization plans
- Departmental & Treasury Board Approval documents, budget letters & requests
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of experience leading client/stakeholder engagements gained in an Advisory, Governmental or Professional services organization
- Strong drive to develop business efforts on behalf of the Infrastructure Advisory Business Unit
- Deep understanding of Federal Government departments and delivery methodologies
- A broad consulting skill set including strong presentation and stakeholder facilitation, business case and report writing, organizational and analytical skills
- Financial and commercial acumen, familiarity with complex financial models and a deep understanding of capital project development
- Ability to adapt emerging best practices and industry innovations to client needs
- Strong organizational skills creating the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Demonstrated client engagement and business development capabilities and experience, and a proven track record for business development and experience identifying opportunities for future business growth in the advisory sector
- A demonstrated portfolio of work experience leading client engagements within the Canadian Federal Government infrastructure advisory sector
- Proven leadership capabilities and experience working with a multi-disciplinary team
- Demonstrated initiative and ability to communicate and effectively engage with a diverse group of clients at the senior management, executive and board level
- Canadian Federal Government Security Clearance
