Accounts Payable Clerk

Description

We are in need of an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in the Amusement/Recreation Ser/Entertainment industry, located in Vancouver, British Columbia. The role involves managing and processing customer credit applications and maintaining precise customer records. The selected candidate will also be required to monitor customer accounts and respond to customer inquiries.

Responsibilities

• Accurate and efficient processing of customer credit applications
• Maintaining precise customer credit records
• Resolving customer inquiries in a timely manner
• Monitoring customer accounts and taking necessary actions based on account status
• Receiving invoices, posting, and processing through financial systems
• Managing accounts payable, including coding and data entry
• Making general ledger entries
• Tracking payments in both USD and CDN
• Utilizing Sage 50 Simply Accounting software for various tasks
• Applying skills in Account Reconciliation, Accounts Payable (AP), Check Runs, Coding Invoices, Data Entry, and Invoice Processing
  
  

This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity.

Requirements

• Applicants must be proficient in accounting reconciliation processes and procedures
• Familiarity with Accounts Payable (AP) practices is necessary for this role
• Experience in handling check runs will be advantageous
• Candidates should have the ability to effectively code invoices
• Strong data entry skills are a must for this position
• Applicants should have a good understanding of invoice processing
• Proficiency in Sage 50 accounting software is required
• No minimum years of experience is required, making this an ideal opportunity for both new and experienced candidates.
