This is an 8 month Co-op term beginning January 2025 at our Calgary office. Reporting to the Rail Fleet Manager, the Co-op Student is responsible for supporting the entire Rail Fleet team. The Rail Fleer team will work to ensure a competitive and sustainable cost structure to ship and distribute product in North America.

What You Will Do

• Work with internal and external stakeholders to clean up master data for entire rail fleet
• Provide analytical support through monthly budget reviews
• Assist senior analysts and managers in preparing and executing on metrics and preparation of data driven decision support
• Support in analysis of Rail Fleet 5-year planning
• Set up purchase orders for Rail Fleet when necessary
• Assist senior analysts and managers in reporting and presentation creation, in both Power BI and MS PowerPoint
• Assist senior analysts and managers with any analysis for contract negotiation
• Find and support process and continuous improvement initiatives
• By the end of the Co-op term, you will complete a project as assigned by your manager and present your findings and results to an integrated member of the Transportation and Distribution team
  
  

What You Will Bring

• Currently enrolled in a Business, Commerce, or equivalent degree
• Must be a returning student with a graduation date no earlier than December 2025
• Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office is required
• Experience working with SAP, MSS, Oracle & HANA would be an asset
• Desire to work with an enthusiastic team
• Motivation to set and achieve goals
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and within tight deadlines
