IT proudly provides the computer systems, security, IT services and governance that support AGLC’s businesses, including the operation & support of mission critical gaming, liquor and corporate systems running on a variety of computing platforms. IT ensures the stability and performance of a Local/Wide Area Network, which supports over 1,200 gaming locations and more than 2,000 computers/tablets, 150 physical and 2,000 virtual servers distributed across six corporate offices, casinos, RECs and bingo halls. IT provides leadership in the use of information technology, data and systems to help the AGLC achieve business goals and objectives.

JOB SUMMARY
Are you ready to take the reins of an innovative and evolving Security Operations team? AGLC is seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Team Lead for our Security Operations Center (SOC). This role is more than just administration—it’s an opportunity to lead the charge in transforming our IT security posture through cutting-edge technology, strategic insights, and proactive risk management. What You'll Do: As the Team Lead, Security Operations, you’ll work closely with the Senior Manager, Information Security, Risk and Compliance to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of AGLC's critical information assets. You will oversee incident response and threat intelligence, while shaping the SOC to be agile and resilient against evolving cyber threats. In this role, you will:
- Provide strategic security advice on projects and initiatives, bringing your expertise to the forefront as a subject matter expert in IT security.
- Lead a talented team of analysts in managing security incidents, conducting digital forensic investigations, and ensuring rapid response to potential threats.
- Drive the continuous improvement of security monitoring, leveraging Security Information Event Management (SIEM) tools, endpoint detection and response (EDR) products, and AI-driven threat analysis.
- Embrace and implement emerging technologies, like AI, to enhance our capabilities in threat detection, response automation, and predictive risk management.
- Collaborate across divisions to build a security-first mindset, integrating cybersecurity into every layer of our organization.
SKILLS & ABILITIES
- A University Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- At least 7 years of relevant industry experience, including a minimum of 2 years in a leadership role overseeing complex IT security projects or supervising teams.
- Industry certifications such as CISSP, GIAC, CISM, CISA, CEH, or GPEN are highly valued. We encourage ongoing learning and expect our team members to actively pursue multiple certifications.
- Advanced knowledge of IT security standards, network architecture, and the latest security best practices.
- Hands-on experience with SIEM, EDR, cloud security architecture, Privileged Identity Management (PIM), and Identity Access Management (IAM).
- Strong skills in threat and risk assessment, incident response, and digital forensics.
- The ability to make critical decisions under pressure, communicate effectively, and lead with integrity.
- A passion for innovation and a commitment to continuously improving security processes by exploring and adopting new technologies, including artificial intelligence.
