Job Description:

The Aerial Techinician will be responsible for installing, adding, and maintaining various telecommunications equipment such as antennas, microwaves, cabling, and others. This position involves an outdoor work environment and requires physically demanding work, making it ideal for candidates who enjoy physical activity and outdoor work.

Responsibilities

Here's a glimpse into your daily tasks:

  • Installing lines and antennas;
  • Installing microwave links, replacing microwave dishes;
  • Installing and maintaining indoor wireless networks;
  • Setting up fiber optic cabling;
  • Adding equipment to existing structures or dismantling equipment or structures;
  • Maintaining telecommunications towers;
  • Fiber optic tasks (replacement and/or installation, verification);
  • Installing, maintaining, and repairing telecommunication equipment;
  • Other tasks related to company operations.

Qualifications

Summary of desired skills for success in this position:

  • Minimum 1 years of experience as an Aerial Technician in Telecommunications (cellular networks experience preferred)
  • Leadership qualities
  • Autonomy, methodical approach, and proactive attitude
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the province and occasionally to other provinces for projects
  • Excellent physical fitness and strong manual dexterity
  • Ability to work at heights (from 0 to 300 meters)
  • Ability to work in challenging weather conditions both in summer and winter
  • Strong adaptability skills
