As part of the MLSE’s Red Vertical Team, you will have the unique opportunity to play a key role in supporting the Red Vertical Team’s creative producers in the execution of content across a variety of different categories, including brand initiatives, network programming, game presentation, and social media efforts. You will primarily work within Scotiabank Arena but will often help coordinate and complete projects off-site.
This position encompasses work for the following teams: Toronto FC, Toronto FC II, the Toronto Raptors, Raptors 905, as well as the linear network NBATV Canada. Accordingly, we create content for a diverse range of needs and platforms, including brand campaigns, in-arena videos, team coverage, social / digital accounts, documentary programming and linear television shows.
MLSE's Internship term dates are from January 6, 2025 - April 25, 2025
- Act as production assistant to producers and production teams.
- Assist with pre-production and post-production needs.
- Help plan and attend shoots when needed, as well as assist with completing creative and technical needs.
- Asset research and collection via Dalet and HSAN for the Editors (training for Dalet will be provided).

- Currently enrolled in a University or College degree/diploma Program related to Marketing, Video Production or New Media Production field.
- Solid understanding of pre- and post-video production fundamentals.
- Working knowledge of digital editing and / or animation systems.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- A winning attitude with ability to exercise diplomacy and tact.
- Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and meet multiple deadlines.
- Knowledge and experience with all relevant social media platforms.
- Poise in live control room environment.
- Demonstrates shrewd judgment with social media posts.
- Experience with Photoshop an asset.
- Knowledge of NBA basketball an asset.
