The Role at NFP

We’re growing our Private Client Sales team in Ontario. We are looking for a Client Executive to leverage their industry knowledge and provide a best-in-class client experience through offering customized solutions that will protect, comfort and recover, providing peace of mind to new and existing clients.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Providing expert advice, recommendations and counselling to prospects about their personal insurance coverage geared to their unique needs and exposures
  • Meeting and/or exceeding individual sales targets as well as department goals
  • Preparing documentation for prospects: complete applications for, issue insurance certificates, and set application for processing by internal or external keying team
  • Maintaining professional and collaborative relationships with key underwriters
  • Resolving any concerns or complaints with a professional demeanour by leveraging product and service knowledge
  • Quoting new prospects using Applied Rating Services or Company Portals
  • Representing the brokerage at industry functions when required
  • Keeping current on industry changes, underwriting rules and workflow processes
  • Actively participate in training initiatives


What You Bring

  • RIBO License in good standing required
  • Typically, more than 5 years of directly related industry and product line experience
  • Experience with Private Client/VIP coverage with increased special limits is a must (High value home & auto, fine art, personal marine craft, etc.)
  • Sound knowledge of industry trends as well as PCG carrier products and services (i.e., Chubb Insurance, Intact Prestige, Aviva Ovation, Unica Live Easy, Northbridge Onyx, etc.)
  • Professional communication and interpersonal skills demonstrating business intelligence
  • Positive and passionate attitude towards client satisfaction and business achievements
  • High-level of organization with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks to meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Sharp attention to detail
  • High tolerance for ambiguity; flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities, deadlines, and technology
  • Excellent computer skills expected and EPIC fluency an asset
  • Currently holding or working towards professional insurance designation such as CAIB, CIP, CRM, etc
