Contract type: Full time
Why you’ll love Softchoice:

We are a technology company that equips organizations to be agile and innovative, and for their people to be productive, creative, and happier at work. That means moving them to the cloud, helping them build the workplace of tomorrow, and enabling them to make smarter decisions about their technology portfolio. By doing these things, we create success faster and in circumstances otherwise not possible.

We stand proudly for our people and support their success through career development and advancement. We are recognized and respected for our culture of inclusion and belonging, continuously striving to do what’s good for our people and communities.

The impact you will have:

It has never been more critical for our customers to accelerate their digital transformation as the workplace evolves to adapt to the new world of work due to the pandemic. With this backdrop, you have an opportunity to use your creativity, thoughtfulness, and subject matter expertise to help our customers explore and adopt productivity solutions that enable secure collaboration and foster meaningful interactions.

The Senior Journey/Solution Architect – Workplace is responsible for articulating what is possible for our customers to transform their business for the hybrid-cloud era with productivity suites such as Microsoft 365 and Cisco technologies. Working alongside a team of sales professionals at Softchoice, you play a vital role in architecting solutions to enable a modern workplace for our customers. As an ambassador of the Softchoice brand, you will represent our value as one of North America's top solutions providers by unlocking our customers' potential to be future-ready right now through the use of technology.

What you'll do:

  • Showcase your growth mindset by seeking to understand our customers' business challenges first and then designing a solution that best achieves the end goal in the shortest possible route.
  • Bring people together by acting as a bridge between our sales team and our customers. Share up-to-date insights on the latest productivity solutions from vendors such as Microsoft and Cisco, formulate creative approaches to address business challenges, present and host workshops with business leaders from the C-Level down, and translate technical jargon into layman's language and vice versa.
  • Challenge customers by using your skills, insight, and experience to help our customers see what it takes to do the right things versus simply doing things right. Confidently challenge their beliefs with well-researched, tailored insights to spotlight your innovative ways of generating solutions that maximize outcomes.
  • Create an excellent experience for our customers and your internal stakeholders with adaptable communications skills that foster a collaborative environment. Document the agreed-upon solution through well-written, thoughtful, and detailed statements of work that demonstrate your maturity, wisdom, and professionalism.

What you'll bring to the table:

  • You experience great delight in empowering people with the technology they want and need to thrive in the workplace.
  • You are a learner and a quick study, always curious about new technologies and how they impact our customers' businesses.
  • You have a knack for guiding people to the right solution while making them feel it was their decision all along.
  • You make people feel heard and important regardless of their rank through your inclusive communication skills, whether written or verbal.
  • You are a courageous leader who brings your whole self to work, ready to tackle tough conversations, and willing to be vulnerable and lean in on others.
  • You have exceptional communication and personal skills, both written, verbal and while presenting to groups, including C-level executives.
  • 7+ years of industry experience in technology focus area; 4+ years’ experience in services pre-sales or post-sales services delivery/support capacity
  • A mastery of at least two (2) of the following required technologies, with the desire to develop expertise on the secondary technologies:
