Your Responsibilities

Olympus are hiring for an experienced Field Service Engineer to cover South of the M25 ‘Kent/Surrey area, and will be responsible for undertaking the installation, planned preventative maintenance / validations and repair of Olympus Infection Prevention equipment at customer’s premises in a timely and proficient manner.

Key duties

  • To respond to customer repair call outs as required in a timely, professional & friendly manner.
  • To complete the Planned Preventative maintenance of Olympus Infection Prevention equipment at customer premises
  • To support with the Installation of any Infection Prevention equipment at customer premises nationwide
  • To complete the Planned Preventative maintenance of Infection Prevention equipment at customer premises nationwide.
  • To carry out water validation on the Infection Prevention equipment at the customer premises nationwide.
  • To follow documented controlled procedures to undertake all works and report works accurately using the company’s service management system.
  • To ensure that the company vehicle is maintained.
  • To cover technical support using Augmented Reality whilst on call
  • Work closely with the customers AED on site through the validation testing

Your qualification

  • HNC in electronics preferred or equivalent experience – Essential
  • Previous experience of HTM-01-06 guidelines - Desirable
  • Previous experience of performing in a technical field service team - Desirable
  • Possess an aptitude for knowledge in the field of Electro Medical devices - Desirable
  • Must have Bio Medical Equipment experience - Desirable
  • Clear and concise written and spoken communication skills
  • Ability to present information in a structured and balanced way
  • Good working knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Willing to travel and occasionally work unsocial hours.
