Overview
We are a fast paced production environment seeking a Production and Shipping/Maintenance interested in continuous hands-on learning opportunities with manufacturing systems and skills. Must be self-driven. Should enjoy the autonomy and responsibility of off-shift work with a tight-knit set of co-workers. Multi-tasking and juggling priorities is a daily routine and with that comes a need for sound judgment.

Responsibilities
- Process sales orders
- Process and manage payments to haulers
- Run reports as required for the Superintendent and Operation Manager
- Answer incoming calls
- General office duties as required
- Process PO’s and receive goods for consumable or maintenance items
- Working with yard-staff (equipment operator) to organize the yard in an effective manner
- Basic maintenance related to the plant
- Other duties as assigned
Education
- High School diploma
- Registered apprentice /Journeyman is an asset
- Mechanical aptitude (basic maintenance skills)
- Proficiency with MS Office
- Knowledge of precast or concrete products an asset
- Excellent telephone manner
- Able to establish and maintain effective working relations with other staff, truckers and customers
- Able to work under pressure with fluid deadlines and changing circumstances
- Self-starter, willing to do work outside job description as required
- High level of time management and task prioritization skills
- Excellent written and oral communication and teamwork/interpersonal skills
