A & A Customs Brokers is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Customs Compliance Supervisor to lead our auditing and compliance efforts. This role is vital in maintaining our high standards for file accuracy, reducing systematic errors, and ensuring compliance with Free Trade Agreements (FTA). The ideal candidate will have significant experience in customs brokerage and be able to manage a team, including an Audit Specialist and a Tariff Specialist. The role requires a proactive approach to continuous improvement and quality control, and the Customs Compliance Supervisor will also provide backup support to the Senior Trade Compliance Specialist as needed.



  • Oversee the auditing of customs files to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • File entry adjustments and manage reporting on accuracy and error trends.
  • Drive continuous improvement to reduce systematic errors.
  • Ensure that clients' databases are up-to-date with correct HS, FTA, and GST information.
  • Implement and manage Quality Control (QC) cases to ensure ongoing compliance.
  • Oversee and ensure the effective management of the FTA compliance program.
  • Collaborate closely with an Audit Specialist and a Tariff Specialist to complete daily tasks and maintain high standards. 


  • Experience: Minimum of 5-10 years in the customs brokerage industry.
  • Certifications: CCS or CTCS designation is required.
  • Skills:
    • In-depth knowledge of General Interpretive Rules for Tariff Classification, Explanatory Notes, and D-Memos.
    • Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.
    • Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy and strong analytical skills.
    • Ability to work independently, meet tight deadlines, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
