Job Description

- Experienced cook who enjoys working in a team environment

- Ensuring high-quality results and meeting food safety, HACCP and OHS standards

. - During your mandate, you will be required to coordinate successfully - direct all food and customer service

- You will prepare meals following standardized recipes and work within a set budget to reduce waste and improve production, safety and sanitation in food service.

- You will plan menus, estimate quantities and ensure proper procurement.

- You will be accountable for completing all HACCP related documents provided by management.

- You will be expected to set an example for other employees by applying Sodexo's food safety standards. - You will be required to know and practice all relevant department and facility policies and procedures including health and safety programs

. - You will have a minimum of 1 to 2 years experience in a similar role, excellent customer service and teamwork skills. Strong time management skills. You are able to work under pressure and ensure compliance with health and safety procedures. Cook certificate is an asset.



About YOU

You are an experienced cook who enjoys working in a team environment, ensuring high-quality results and meeting food safety, HACCP and OHS standards.

During your mandate, it will be your responsibility to support the Chef in the execution of daily activities defined for our client contract regarding all food service offerings and the a la carte menu. You will use your skills to help create an excellent food service offering for the patients, clients and guests of this site. You will be asked to prepare general food production, cook, and serve, as well as other assigned tasks. You will be required to follow the various Sodexo programs: Food Safety, Health and Safety, Policies and Procedures, and Marketing.

You have a minimum of 1-2 years experience in a similar role, excellent customer service and teamwork skills. Strong planning, organizational and time management skills as well as computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.). You are able to work under pressure and ensure compliance with health and safety procedures. A cook certificate and FoodSafe certificates are assets.
