We are now looking for drivers with a Class 1 license for our Industry and Water segment of Kemira Waters Solutions. This position delivers bulk liquid chemicals using tanker trucks to our local and regional customers (Ontario, Quebec and Eastern United States). Travel may include overnight stays away from home.

This position is located in Brantford, Ontario

What You’ll Bring To The Team

  • Safe delivery of bulk liquid chemicals
  • Availability to work flexible hours (days; evenings; weekends)
  • Perform risk analyzes and report problems
  • Perform inspections related to transport regulations
  • Participate in health and safety sessions
  • Class 1 driving license and FAST card (Mandatory)
  • 3 years experience with Class 1 driving
  • Clean criminal record (CTPAT compliant)

Responsibilities

  • Safe delivery of hazardous bulk liquid chemicals
  • Availability to work flexible hours (days; evenings; weekends)
  • Perform site risk analyzes and report problems to ensure safe environment
  • Perform inspections related to transport regulations
  • Participate in health and safety sessions
  • Class AZ driving license and FAST card (Mandatory)
  • 2 years driving experience with a class 8 Tractor.
  • Hazmat experience would be a great asset.
  • Basic physical requirements (lift up to 50 lbs, climbing ladders)
