We are looking for a Media Planner for our Retail Media Network team. In this role, you will manage ad inventory to meet advertiser commitments and develop strategic media plans tailored to client objectives. You will execute media buys across various digital platforms, optimize budget allocation, and collaborate with suppliers and third-party vendors to ensure campaigns run smoothly and effectively.

This position will be based in our office in Halifax, Nova Scotia. We offer a competitive salary along with a comprehensive benefits package. We will also provide relocation assistance for qualified candidates interested in making Nova Scotia their new home.

Here's where you'll be focusing:

  • Manage overall ad inventory and ensure there is capacity to meet advertiser campaigns / annual commitments
  • Develop strategic media plans tailored to advertiser objectives
  • Execute media buys across various offsite digital platforms within RMN (e.g., search, social, display, video)
  • Manage advertising budget and optimize spend across channels
  • Utilize media expertise to develop recommendations for suppliers, including allocation of budget across ad products, recommending and building audiences, and flighting strategy
  • Meet and consult periodically with suppliers to understand priorities, ensure campaigns are running properly and hitting objectives, and share updates
  • Help develop processes in order to quickly deliver media plans (e.g., audience sizing, inventory availability)
  • Develop strategy and outreach plans for underserved / non-active clients
  • Manage relationship with 3rd party vendors and agencies for offsite media (e.g., negotiate contracts, coordinate media planning & buying needs)

What you have to offer:

  • 3+ years experience at media planning and buying agency
  • Strong analytical, decision-making, project management, and communication skills
  • Experience with ad tech tools (e.g., GAM360)
  • Experience working at or closely with offsite advertising platforms
