This Role In Summary

Whirlpool is currently seeking an Assistant Brand Manager (KitchenAid Brand), this role will be based out of our Canada Facility.

As an Assistant Brand Manager at Whirlpool, you’ll get the opportunity to work on one of Canada’s strongest brands. Reporting directly to the Brand Manager, the person in this role is responsible for leading key brand initiatives in various facets of the marketing mix in order to meet key strategic brand objectives. These include consumer programs involving brand communications, public relations, digital, co-branded activities, and in-store materials like signage, brochures, and tools for sales associates.

The ABM will be focused on building equity for our brands, driving demand through effective shopper communications and driving owner loyalty. The ABM will be responsible for creating campaigns and content through all touchpoints - owned, earned and paid. The ABM will work collaboratively with category and product teams, other marketing stakeholders, and internal and external agencies to deliver best in class consumer communications.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

  • Leverage consumer insights to build strong brand strategies and tactics
  • Manage partner agencies to create and execute consumer marketing programs
  • Conduct in-depth analysis to understand the brand P&L and brand health
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams in product, trade marketing, and sales to develop and execute various brand initiatives and new product launches
  • Assist with management of brand sponsorship or partnership programs and events
  • Leverage website analytics to enhance the website experience through content and journey optimizations
  • Manage the brand marketing budget
  • Lead brand communications to sales and external groups

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 3+ years of experience in Marketing, Merchandising, or Sales

  • Leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills

  • Use broad business skills and new thinking to challenge others
  • Previous Marketing, Merchandising, or Sales experience preferred
  • Previous agency or design industry experience
