The Opportunity

The Technical Manager directs and coordinates all functions of the Technical Services under their responsibility: Development of industrial processes, Methods & Continuous Improvement, Formulation and Mixing Room.

In this capacity, they are particularly responsible for supervising the development and availability processes of products in compliance with regulations and quality standards, as well as the expected costs and deadlines.

What You Will Do

  • Participate in the design, installation, and technical adjustments of the dipping line, including troubleshooting and development of process guidelines.
  • Oversee the commissioning and start-up of the lines.
  • Coordinate the development and training of SOPs for various departments (Manufacturing, Lab, Quality, Mixing Room) and manage raw materials, including specifications and tests.
  • Contribute to evaluating the company's development challenges in the short, medium, and long term, and participate in budgeting for innovation development axes.
  • Proactively search for new technical solutions, study the company's technical positioning, and anticipate technological breakthroughs to maintain a leadership position.
  • Develop a supplier sourcing strategy, technically analyze their offers, and participate in testing and process optimization phases.
  • Provide technical assistance to Process Engineers to solve problems related to the manufacturing process and adapt the production tool.
  • Monitor technological developments related to gloves with research and development institutions, equipment manufacturers, and chemical suppliers.
  • Coordinate product development according to customer and market needs, involving necessary stakeholders.
  • Create and manage the technical department budget as well as manage the CapEx budget for the facility.
  • Participate in the process and propose necessary improvements based on evolving standards and risk analysis.

And all other tasks or responsibilities as assigned by the direct supervisor, relevant and directly related to the proper execution of this position.

What You Will Bring

  • Hold a Bachelor's or Technical Degree.
  • 5 to 8 years of experience in a similar position.
  • Technical skills: systems, databases, networks, security, performance.
  • Possess very broad technical knowledge (chemical, mechanical, electrical, automation, materials).
  • Know how to design, formalize, and adapt procedures/protocols/instructions related to one's area of expertise.
  • Have an aptitude for cross-functional management.
  • Have excellent knowledge of the sector and its manufacturing processes.
  • Be able to work in a team.
  • Master continuous improvement methodologies to lead, in collaboration with various company departments, structuring projects within the site.
  • Negotiation skills to maintain high-level relations with clients and suppliers.
  • Master technical English.
