Immunisation & Injections Team Lead- B7

This is a fulltime post of 37 hours per week

This shift pattern is Monday to Sunday.

Band 7 Team Leader

Glasgow City HSCP has grown its capacity to deliver on the transfer of care and treatments to more appropriate services away from general practice. This Includes the Vaccination Programme which is coordinated at a NHSGGC board level with the HSCP overseeing implementation.

The post holder will be a first level NMC Registered Nurse with leadership and management experience in immunisations. he post holder will be responsible for operational management and professional leadership of the immunisation, vaccination and injection team in Glasgow City HSCP with possible NHSGGC wide responsibility.

The post holder will provide an accessible, appropriate, culturally sensitive, safe, person centred and effective service for adults, children and young people in the community; working in partnership with patients, children, young people and families, care providers and other agencies, including general practice, primary care, education and public health.

However, as not all service areas will be able to adopt the 37 hour working week immediately from 1 April 2024, you may be required to work up to an additional 30 minutes per week for a temporary period for which you would be paid until the service you are working in changes rosters or working patterns to accommodate the new reduced working week.
