On behalf of our Public Sector Client, Ignite Technical Resources is recruiting for a Coordinator, Education and Training on a contract basis.

Summary Of The Role

The Coordinator, Education and Training will develop a corporate-wide training program in collaboration with internal departments and leadership. The role requires creating a sustainable implementation plan for the next 3 to 5 years. This position offers the opportunity to work fully remotely from anywhere in Canada.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of a long-term, sustainable corporate training program.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and leadership to create an actionable training roadmap.
  • Ensure the training program supports organizational goals, particularly in supporting service delivery to vulnerable clients.
  • Work closely with a small, collaborative corporate training team of four members, including the Manager and administrative coordinator.

Core Requirements

  • Proven experience in developing corporate-wide training programs.
  • Ability to collaborate across departments and with leadership teams.
  • Experience in creating and implementing long-term strategic plans (3-5 years).
  • Strong project management skills and ability to work independently.
  • Previous experience in a similar role within a corporate or public sector environment.

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Experience working in public sector organizations.
  • Familiarity with training programs for service-oriented teams.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Terms

  • Contract position starting on October 14, 2024, and scheduled to end on March 31, 2025.
  • Fully remote role; candidates must be based in Canada.
  • Successful candidates will be required to undergo a background check at the offer stage.
