Fraser Downs Racetrack located at Elements Casino Surrey is a five eighths of a mile horse track in Surrey, British Columbia, that features harness racing as well as a casino.
Race days are Thursdays and Fridays from 5:00pm-10:00pm at Elements Casino Surrey. Some other dates
Key Accountabilities

Race days are Thursdays and Fridays from 5:00pm-10:00pm at Elements Casino Surrey. Some other dates
Key Accountabilities
- Calling live racing events at Fraser Downs
- Communicates with GPEB Judges and Officials, public staff, horsemen, horsemen groups, industry representatives and customers
- Overseeing communication on live race days
- Communicates with members of the public and horsemen in a professional and courteous manner
- Follows scripts and announcements created by Track Management or Marketing Department
- Performing other duties as assigned or directed
- Ability to multi task
- Computer literacy including Microsoft Word, Excel, outlook and other programs
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Attention to detail
- Good vision and recollection of colours and numbers
- Understanding of Horse Racing
- Ability to clear a criminal record check
- Regular casino environment, standing and walking for long periods of time, and non-traditional work hours
