Clearance: All applicants, including applicants that may work remotely, must secure CGP clearance within 6 months of applying for it. Field will assist applicant in applying for CGP clearance.

General Duties:

Responsible for the production of parts/kits and for installation of the kits onto the aircraft.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Ensure that all personnel are trained, remain current and knowledgeable on applicable sections of the MMPM, QAPs and other relevant documents related to their work function.
  • Work closely with PM to assist with and provide inputs to required reports for the customer and EMT.
  • Responsible to ensure that all modifications are in accordance with the technical specification, engineering data, applicable standards and certification requirements.
  • Manages and mentors’ production resources to ensure a respectful and effective workplace. Deals immediately with any attendance, work quality or disciplinary issues.
  • Ensure that work assigned is kept to an optimum level and that material and tooling is available for all tasks to be performed.
  • Manage program resources (production & engineering) to ensure activities are assigned and completed in line with the plan.
  • Ensures card planned work is accurate prior to start of work. Ensure work is performed efficiently and to planned work.
  • Provide Assistant Program Manager with estimated completion dates and work to go immediately it is known that the plan or previous forecast will not be achieved.
  • Reviews assigned tasks on a daily basis and checks on progress against Program schedule.
  • Liaise with the Assistant Program Manager on a day-to-day basis, advising of any impending problems which could adversely affect Program scheduling.
  • Respond to Quality Audits and take corrective action in a timely manner.
  • Ensure that Maintenance, Modification and Manufacturing are conducted in accordance with the Repair Station Manual and QAP.
  • Promptly identify over and above work, ensure the Assistant Program Manager is advised and that work is authorized before costs are incurred.
  • Ensures a safe and tidy working area. Implement controls to prevent FOD.

  • 3-4 years’ experience in Aircraft Modification and Maintenance
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills

Education:

Bachelor of mechanical / aerospace, Degree in Business or related project management experience (preferred)

  • Position requires minimal travel to operations in US and Canada.
