Job Title: Remote Real Estate & Property Management Specialist

Salary: $90 per hour

Job Overview:

Structural Investment Management LLC is seeking an experienced Remote Real Estate & Property Management Specialist to manage a diverse portfolio of real estate assets across residential and commercial properties. This is a remote position open to candidates based in Canada. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining property performance, optimizing tenant satisfaction, and ensuring the overall efficiency of the properties while working from a home-based office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Property Management (Remote): Oversee the day-to-day operations of a variety of real estate assets including residential and commercial properties, ensuring that all properties are maintained effectively from a remote location.
  • Leasing & Tenant Management: Manage remote leasing operations, including tenant screening, lease agreements, renewals, and ensuring high occupancy rates while coordinating with local property teams.
  • Vendor & Maintenance Coordination: Liaise with on-site teams and third-party vendors to ensure timely maintenance, repairs, and improvements.
  • Financial Management: Develop and monitor property budgets, control expenses, and ensure timely rent collections. Generate financial reports remotely to assess property performance.
  • Asset Management: Collaborate with stakeholders to develop strategies for increasing property value and optimizing return on investment.
  • Market Research & Analysis: Conduct market analysis to inform decision-making, identify trends, and recommend strategies to enhance property value.
  • Compliance: Ensure that properties remain compliant with local laws, regulations, and health and safety standards.
  • Client and Stakeholder Reporting: Regularly provide comprehensive remote reports on property performance, including financial outcomes, maintenance status, and tenant satisfaction.
  • Tenant Relations: Maintain positive tenant relationships through regular communication and promptly addressing concerns remotely.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in real estate and property management.
  • Proven ability to manage properties remotely with strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent financial analysis and budget management skills.
  • Knowledge of Canadian real estate laws and regulations.
  • Proficient in property management software and MS Office Suite.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with tenants, vendors, and stakeholders remotely.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience managing multi-property portfolios remotely.
  • Real estate license or relevant certification.
  • Strong vendor management skills with experience handling remote relationships.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively solve problems from a remote environment.
