Sinai Health is looking for an experienced Treasury Analyst to join our team. As an integral member of the Finance Department, the Treasury Analyst is an important role in strategic planning and managing operations on a wide range of banking, investment, debt, insurance and general accounting functions to ensure Sinai Health has the appropriate cash flows to support operations, safeguard assets, and ensure compliance with debt covenants. The Treasury Analyst is also a core player in investment and financing matters.

- Manage daily cash and working capital requirements to support Sinai Health operations while maximizing the return on excess cash
- Own and enhance the operating cash forecast model, including direct engagement with other areas of Finance and our business partners on improving the accuracy and timeliness of input data and drivers
- Own and develop the long-term cash flow model to optimize investment and multi-year planning
- Identify, plan, and lead/support risk management activities around foreign exchange and interest rate exposure and cash flow mitigation risks
- Build and present a Treasury Scorecard to Finance leadership on a weekly basis, including cash balance, investment summaries, cash flow mitigation risks and compliance reporting,
- Administer debt covenants compliance and coordinate annual credit rating review activities;
- Prepare formal written and oral presentations to internal and external decision makers
- Manage bank accounts, online banking users, signing authorities, and banking resolutions
- Support period end processes and reporting (both internal and external)
- Lead and/or participate on special projects requiring working capital, financing or investment, including assessing strategic, market and financial risks; development of pro-forma cash flow and financial statements and impact analysis on working capital and convenants
Mandatory
- A university degree in business (or related discipline) from a recognized and accredited educational institution
- A minimum of five years relevant treasury experience in a large complex organization
- Applicants with proven equivalent recent and related training and experience may be considered
- Recognized professional designation: CFA preferred, CTP and CRM considered an asset
- Experience with Treasury systems and SAP (highly desirable)
- Strong business acumen with experience in business management, operations, financial planning, performance measurement and budgeting functions
- Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to articulate complex financial issues to a broad and diverse audience
- Ability to work and thrive in a changing environment while experiencing financial constraints
- Capacity to build partnerships, work collaboratively and effectively communicate to diverse groups both within and external to Sinai Health
- Experience with change management; ability to proactively identify issues and generate solutions by critically assessing procedures and challenging the status quo
- A strong service orientation with a commitment to advance the mission of Sinai Health
- Experience working in a team-oriented collaborative environment, with a focus on strong customer service skills, team building and development
