The Policy Service Representative will be responsible for policy transactions within the policy and associated client systems to support Broker Acquisition. You will support internal and external clients in a professional and confident manner, issue appropriate documentation, review identified reports, and complete appropriate actions. You will contribute to the effective and efficient delivery of services within defined service standards.

How You Will Create Impact

  • Processing new business and renewals and providing appropriate correspondence to policyholders, agents, and financial institutions.
  • Supporting inquiries from internal clients, identifying challenges, taking appropriate action, and escalating matters.
  • Reviewing risks, updating and rating policies for renewal, and escalating to underwriting as per guidelines.
  • Investigating and actioning system generated reports and contributing to the department quality and service standards by completing work assigned.

To Join Our Team

  • You have one year of experience in an office environment.
  • You have completed post-secondary education.
  • You have accurate keyboarding skills and aptitude for numerical calculations.
  • You have demonstrated competency in the use of email, internet, and MS Office.
  • Having experience with PolicyCenter and Salesforce is an asset.
  • Proficiency in French is essential to the main duties in this role, including servicing and communicating primarily with majority francophone clients, groups, teams. The essential non-English duties are not assignable to adjacent or other team members.

  • Repetitive, transactional tasks where accuracy is essential.
  • Extended work hours, including weekends, may be required during peak periods.
  • You will work on a virtual team or remotely. A high degree of autonomy is required.
  • You will be subject to a Criminal Record and Consumer History background check as a condition of employment, in the event you are the successful candidate.
