WHAT'S THE JOB?

NOTE - Position is shift work at a remote, safety sensitive location.  Successful applicants must pass a pre-employment drug test before they can be employed.

  • Understanding all safety procedures of work place.
  • Removing and installing air quality systems
  • Meeting compliance requirement documentation
  • Testing for leaks using various testing tools
  • Maintaining and repairing electrical components of HVAC equipment
  • Reviewing historical repair records to create an effective inspection schedule
  • Communicating with clients
  • Inspecting plumbing systems to ensure efficient operation while adhering to environmentally friendly guidelines
  • The ability to follow instructions and analyze systems
  • Problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to interpret schematics and wiring diagrams
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to respond to clients complaints, questions and needs
  • Ability to interpret technical data such as temperature and pressure
  • Ability to operate and repair various HVAC equipment
  • Cleans and stores tools and equipment and cleans work sites. 
  • Maintain site equipment to the highest possible condition.
  • Liaise with the Area Superintendent and Maintenance Planner to keep up to all maintenance issues and complete all required paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Ensure all site equipment is in good repair.
  • Effectively manage time and meet all necessary deadlines
  • Interacting with other departments to ensure the proper functioning of all systems on site.
  • Complying with all of company safety policies & procedures
  • Wears required Personal Protective Equipment at all times during work hours. 
  • Performs other related duties incidental to the work described herein


WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • Valid drivers License.
  • Work requires an education background normally equivalent to high school and a Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic certification.
  • Work requires practical knowledge of the application of electrical techniques and methods normally acquired through 5 years of electrical experience.   
  • Knowledge of applicable industry and company codes, standards, regulations, and procedures.
  • Able to operate all hand and power tools required to perform tasks specific to trade.
  • Able to demonstrate organizational, time-management and decision-making skills.
  • Able to manage a fluctuating workload and set priorities to meet deadlines.
  • Able to work individually and as a team member.
  • Able to safely and comfortably carry out physical duties. 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Attention to health/safety of self and co-workers.
