Are you ready to work in one of British Columbia’s most iconic venues? BC Place is hiring a full-time HVAC and Refrigeration Technician to be part of the dynamic Event and Maintenance team. Reporting to the Facility Operations Manager, you'll have the opportunity to provide vital technical support and maintain state-of-the-art stadium systems that keep this world-class venue running smoothly.

What You’ll Do:

  • HVAC & Refrigeration Maintenance: Ensure all stadium systems are operating at peak performance.
  • Equipment Repairs: Support and maintain various kitchen and stadium equipment.
  • Troubleshooting: Analyze and resolve technical issues efficiently.
  • Safety Focused: Follow all safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for everyone.


What You’ll Bring:

  • Red Seal Certification as an HVAC/Refrigeration Mechanic (required).
  • 4th Class Power Engineering or Gas Ticket (an asset).
  • Experience with electrical systems, mechanical repairs, and troubleshooting.
  • Understanding of safe equipment operation, adhering to WCB regulations.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts including days, nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Familiarity with kitchen equipment repairs, fall protection, scissor lift, or forklift certification (all assets).
  • A commitment to service excellence.


Hourly Rate: $44.90
