Payroll Manager

Description

We are offering a unique opportunity for a Payroll Consultant in Toronto, Ontario. This role is mostly remote work.

The Payroll Consultant will be working with the organization and ADP to streamline payroll cycles and enhance reporting capabilities. This position is a short-term contract role in the finance industry that requires skills in automating and standardizing payroll.

Responsibilities

• Streamlining of payroll cycles for improved efficiency
• Utilization of ADP for payroll management
• Providing support in mapping processes
• Enhancing reporting capabilities to overcome existing challenges
• Managing payroll standardization activities
• Ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll
• Addressing and resolving payroll-related inquiries and issues
• Monitoring payroll activities and ensuring compliance with regulations.
  
  

Requirements

• A minimum of 7 years of experience in payroll management or a similar role is required.
• Proficiency in Automated Payroll systems is essential.
• A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or a related field is required.
• Experience with payroll software upgrades and implementation is a plus.
• Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of payroll tax laws, regulations, and best practices.
• Proven experience in managing and leading a team.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
